cortneyward Posted August 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2016 Just curious how big of a deal is it to sail on the first sailing after a dry dock? We are looking at doing so in February. Are there usually kinks to work out or does it generally run smoothly? Also, I can't find anywhere, but does anyone know what the Dream is scheduled to get during dry dock? smurfm69 Posted August 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2016 I have never sailed on a ship right after coming out of dry dock so can't answer that question. I do know it is a short stay to add Guy's Burger Joint which is awesome, and a few other things. Nothing major being done so I would think it would be smooth. Micahs Grandad Posted August 4, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2016 Actually not so minor. Dream has propulsion problem that will take pretty much the full two weeks to fix. I would stay away from first sailing after drydock just in case work is not completed and it is worked on during that cruise.
