Grand Mediterranean, 2017--anybody have a historical perspective?

Ladies and Gents, I owe my lady a visit to Florence and Rome (now, with more than 30 years' "interest"--yes, there's a story), so we've booked on the Grand Mediterranean Cruise, March - May, 2017.

So far, our longest cruise has been 4 weeks--a trans Panama Canal. I'm just curious if anyone here has done one of the Grand Mediterranean cruises, and would be willing to share. We're not newbies--achieved 4-star on our last cruise--but this is just a new experience for us. We want to be prepared, but don't want to do a lot of stressing about it.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom--or whatever you might be able to dredge up. :D

It would be a good idea to join the Roll Call for the cruise as several of us are repeaters.

Do not stress - just think of this cruise as 2 back to back 4 week cruises - but even more special as a Grand!

If you would like to 'chat' about this, please email me at williamandterri at gmail dot com.
