La Spezia to Florence

I just found out that my RCCL Excursion to Florence has a 2 hour stop at some %#$# leather factory. Is there any easy way to go from La Spezia to Florence and back? I looked at trains but I have no idea how far the train station is from the port, Also it doesn't look like it is that much cheaper...

 

Ideas anyone????

You take a shuttle to the port, a bus to train, and change trains at Pisa. We booked private transport through Italy shore drivers. You still have time to find one.
