Ships sailing from Port Everglades

• UPDATED -- Enchantment of the Seas -- The Thursday, November 3, sailing of Enchantment of the Seas is unable to visit Cozumel Saturday, due to the port's closure. Instead, the ship will make a port call in Costa Maya, Mexico, that day.

Just FYI for all! I'm happy with Costa Maya, never been there and am looking forward to it. :)

Yes, we will be going to Key West, the only change will be Costa Maya instead of Cozumel. :)

Costa Maya stepped up and said they would take all the cruise ships that couldn't dock at Cozumel from the storm so a lot of ships will be going there instead.

What does everyone plan to do for the day?

Good question! I'm actually attending a conference being held on the ship, so have that a good part of the day. I don't think the conference planners have actually figured out what, if any, shore activites we'll have there.

 

In the meantime, I'm just reading as much info about Costa Maya as I can. :)

Go see the ruins at Chacchoben. They are wonderful. The beach is also nice, and there are shops and dining right there at the pier. They have natives dressed up who dance in the plaza as well.
