Britannia - covered swimming pool?

Off on Norway cruise on Saturday and weather looks very wet. Is there a covered pool on Britannia, either for general use or as part of a spa package? Will it be warm enough to sit out, if outside temperature is low? How is this purchased and is it worth it?

Hiya,

All of the Pools on Britannia are Outside and none are covered.

There is a Hydrotherapy pool in the Spa, but there is a charge for this.

 

We just came back from Norway, Its fabulous.

Have you booked the excursions you wanted ?

As most were fully booked when we got on the Ship.

Thanks. I've only booked the Flam scenic railway, and was happy to wander on my own aside from that, but book on board if that didn't look like it was going to work, so thanks for the heads up that they fill up. Shame about the lack of cover on pools on a ship of this size, as it's looking very wet.

It depends where exactly you are stopping.

Stranger - we just had a wonder around, which was ok.

There is a few Museums close by too.

 

Olden, We wished we had booked something. As there is literally only a Bar/Hotel and Souvenir shop where we stopped.

It was ok to have a little walk around the scene.

We ended up paying for a little fun fair train ride though

 

We were supposed to stop at Flam, but they changed it after a few months to Andalsnes. So we pre booked the Train, which was fab.

 

Bergen - We just had a wonder around again. Quite a big city.

 

We had good weather though, which is really unusual for the time of year.
