Yes and yes. The reason I did both is that you are only allowed to buy $500 in cruise cash. I wanted the whole cruise paid off beforehand so I purchased the $200 bar cash!

 

If you set up this cruise cash (and bar cash, etc), then do you also need to have a credit card on file for the sign & sail card, or is this sufficient?

No, I think when you set your account online, you would set it up as a cash account.

Thank you for your review. My wife and I are going on Miracle in October 2017 to Hawaii for our 25th anniversary.

 

Based on your review, I'd say we picked a good ship for our very first cruise.

 

I seriously cannot wait and am excited to see what this cruising thing is all about. Sounds like it's going to be a great time.

Yes, 24 down and 70 when you get there. Per person. Also, they only take credit cards at the hotel.

They do have a kids price, just not sure what it is. The price is worth it (at least I thought so). It is all inclusive and the service is impeccable! My husband and I just talked about staying there for our 25th!

MIracle is leaving Long Beach on January 13, 2018. We are on the Miracle for the full transit of the Panama Canal. She is going toTampa. The Splendor will also be going through thecanal to Long Beach. I believe I heard the Splendor will remain in Long Beachubtil she goes to another cruise line owned by Carnival Corporation.
