Greselda2251 Posted August 27, 2016 #26 Share Posted August 27, 2016 I was directing the "for them" at those people that judge others at first sight!!
cortneyward Posted August 27, 2016 #27 Share Posted August 27, 2016 Things about Carnival that bother me: -Waiting for cruise day to arrive -Having to leave the ship when it's over Things that don't bother me at all (as long as I'm on a ship and on vacation): -the price of FTTF -the conditions/limitations of Cheers! -table cloths whether present or absent -food quality...I'll always find something -dancing wait staff -1 or 2 times a day stateroom service -chair hogs -children having fun -what others wear to dinner -cigarette smoke -missing ports due to safety -staggered check-in -a little "wear and tear" -she's "showing her age" -cruise director announcements -up-charge dining options -cabin noise (I pick my room carefully) -vibration (I'm at sea...I expect that) -cancellation policy...buyer beware -people who ride elevators 1 floor -lack of freebies in the bathroom -perks...or lack thereof -buffet lines -entertainment (I cruise with friends who do that for me) I'm not picky. I'm on vacation. There are always little things I have to let slide but I refuse to ever let little things ruin a vacation that I have worked hard for...planned extensively...anticipated for so long. Keep it positive folks and have fun! Sent from my iPhone using Forums So true! Some of these things, I don't LOVE, like the fact that I probably won't purchase FTTF at the new rate. BUT, I'm just excited to get to go! We don't get to cruise often, it's a real treat for us, so I refuse to let anything ruin it for me.
Rare Banditswife Posted August 28, 2016 #28 Share Posted August 28, 2016 Agreed- as my husband always says-" if we ever have had a bad cruise, I guess we just didn't realize it." Is every cruise absolutely perfect, No. But who cares, we are on a ship sailing on the beautiful ocean, visiting places we've dreamed of. And hubby doesn't have to drive, I don't have to cook, someone else makes my bed. The only decision I have to make is what's for dinner?
