Scooter thru door in OS on IOS?

Have an Owner's Suite booked on Indy. Now, found out, I will need a scooter. Are OS cabin doors larger than reg. cabins?

RCCL's website states that standard doors are 23" wide. That measurement is from door frame to door frame. 2" than has to be deducted for the depth of the door as it does not open flush to the fall. Therefore total door clearance is i21" in width.

 

Not aware of Owner Suite Doors being any larger (23" in width with a 21" total clearance) so suggest you call RCCL. However remember that the measurement given will be from door frame to door frame. You than have to deduct 2" for the depth of the door to get the total clearance width.

 

If you plan to rent a mobility scooter from one of RCCL's approved vendors, than provided you do not require either a Full Size Scooter or a Bariatric Scooter than the Portable Scooter ( Pride GoGo Elite Traveler ) from either of RCCL's approved vendors will fit through a 21" clearance as long as the arms rests have been adjust to less than 21" in width or completely removed.

Ijust called the special needs dept.. Was told OS doors were larger on the IOS---34x35 in.
