Lemonade in the Soda plan?

As the others have said, lemonade is usually available for free at the buffet. But note that those dispensers are only filled at mealtimes (juices in the morning, iced tea/lemonade/flavored waters at lunch and dinner), so bring sports bottles or travel mugs and fill them up if you want your kids to have something to drink outside of those times, or away from the buffet.

Just about the only thing you can get for free at bars is tap water. No juice, no iced tea, no lemonade. (Not sure about milk.)

I don't know if you can get free lemonade in the MDR or specialty restaurants.

So at the MDR or Specialty Dining milk and lemonade are included with the soda package or no?

No. They are not soda. The soda package is for soda. Milk and lemonade are available for no charge to everyone on the ship. It has nothing to do with a package of any sort.

Someone mentioned that Iced Tea and lemonade is not available at bars - is that correct? In other words - where is Iced Tea (regular and unsweetened) and Lemonade available on NCL ships?

Could someone please complete/correct the below chart (and whether there are any exceptions for particular bars (maybe the Ice Bar?) or ships:

Iced Tea and Lemonade are available at the following venues:

  • MDR - Yes
  • Buffet - Yes
  • Specialty Restaurants - ???
  • Bars - ???

Thank you!

Is there anywhere that you can fill a drink and take it with you (outside of just meal times)? Similar to a Disney ship?

I think you'll only find the buffet closed for a couple of hours between each meal to allow them time to set up for the next one. At least that's been our experience. Even when it's been closed, the beverage dispensers and coffee machines have been accessible. They may only refill them at meal times, although i've never found them to be empty.

The dispensers are often empty even during meal times. You may have to walk around a bit before you find one that is working and stocked with the beverage you want. On some ships there are dispensers around the pool deck, too.

In my experience it's easy to find coffee/hot water outside of meal times (maybe not all night long), but the cold drink dispensers are very much hit and miss.
