Questions about cruisin with the kids!

We have booked a November cruise with our two sons (7 and 12). This is our first time taking the boys and I have questions! Do the kids get a "patter" with their activities everyday? Is it a program where they have structure or is it just come and play? Since we made our reservations and included the boys ages does that sign them up or do we need to do that when we board.
Would anyone share if they have taken a November cruise with kids...were there a lot of kids on board? I just don't know what to expect. My husband and I have always had a wonderful time and I am hoping our sons will have a blast. I appreciate anyone that will share!
Thank you, Linda

Not to worry Mom, take the sons down to kids zone first day, meet the councelors and hope you see them again once or twice before the end of the cruise.

The number of kids will be realitively small but that makes for more time for the activities people to spend with them. Most kids like cruising as much or more than their parents, bet that is on purpose. No there aren't patters but a schedule, it is pretty much all day.

Hi Linda,
We are taking our two girls 7 & 9 with us on the Nov. 6th Caribbean Princess Cruise.
This will be our seocnd with the kids. Last year we took them on the Celebrity Horizon (Oct 31 sailing). The kids had a blast. There weren't many kids(roughly 15-20 max among all the age groups-very few teens) - but the kids crew were great and to this day that is all the girls talk about.

I just hope Princess can compete!
