CelebrityMan Posted October 30, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2005 Hi, Possibly someone who has stayed on deck 3 can be more specific..., but those "large white areas" on the deck plans usually indicate an access point where the crew can enter inner passageways for quick movement about the ship. I wouldn't be surprised that the one next to you indicates the presence of stairs and elevators. CM
kitty9 Posted October 30, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2005 On Summit, those areas are crew support areas, such as access points for the crew to get supplies and to get to and from areas of the ship. They are also storage areas. Since Summit and Conni are sister ships, they are probably the same things.
sweetair Posted October 30, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2005 the big white areas are usually where the housekeeping staff keeps their carts, supplies etc. it can also lead them to employee areas but i have never gotten far enough into the areas to see. I have not found it to be noisy but i tend to try and move 1 cabin away if possible just in case. have a great cruise! *Sweet*
ahoymatey3 Posted October 30, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 30, 2005 I checked the deck plans. Maybe that long, narrow space is the crew bowling alley. ;)
