Lofbtotrafbel Posted September 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2016 Going to Grand Cayman for the first time. Husband is kind of so-so about Stingray City. He wants to take a tour of the island and also possibly snorkel. Any ideas for us on a private tour company to look into? Thanks.
Majik Posted October 24, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2016 Going to Grand Cayman for the first time. Husband is kind of so-so about Stingray City. He wants to take a tour of the island and also possibly snorkel. Any ideas for us on a private tour company to look into? Thanks. This is Michael from Indianapolis, and I will be on the Splendor with you on March 5, 2017. I have used and will again use Native Wave Water Sports while on Grand Cayman. They took very good care of our group of 8, and we did the Stingray City and Island Tour, which was $60 per person and well worth it. I have a group of 15 am bringing, although only about half will do this tour. You go to Sting Ray City, Turtle Farm, Rum Factory and Hell. Think you will not be disappointed if you use this company. Let me know if you need any other info on our other stops. On Cozumel, we are either going to use resort for a day, or walk around the port area where they have many different shops, and eat at Pancho's Backyard, a really nice restaurant right by the ship. Their website quotes $70 per person now. Did you negotiate the price since you had a group?

Which "Rum Factory" was included in this tour? Was it the "Cayman Spirits Co. Distillery?
STBMrsP Posted January 31, 2017 #8 Share Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) You go to Sting Ray City, Turtle Farm, Rum Factory and Hell. Hi! Can you give any kind of idea about how much time is spent at each place? I looked up the tour on their website, but it doesn't go into much detail, and it's only a 4-hour excursion. Just wondering if you are able to get out and actually swim with the rays and the turtles, and do rum tasting, or how that all works. Thanks! maldenmusic Posted February 1, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 1, 2017 We used Acquarius Tours when we were there in December. We went to Stingray City, Starfish Beach and snorkeling. Then they dropped us at 7 Mile Beach.

uznmyhead Posted February 18, 2017 #11 Share Posted February 18, 2017 I tried to book stingray, starfish and snorkel with acquarius but they are booked and won't recommend an alternative tour operator. Any other tried and true operators? Its my fault for waiting too long to book...
camper51 Posted February 19, 2017 #12 Share Posted February 19, 2017 If you can find a Stingray City tour - it is well worth it. Absolutely amazing!!!!
