Only 3 hours - what to do?

We're only docked in San Juan from 7 AM to 1 PM, and by the time I get my family up and going it most likely will be 9 AM. Any thoughts on what to do from 9 AM to Noon? Are there any good tour guides for maybe a 2 hour tour and a little beach time? (similar to Godrey tours on St. Thomas or Joyce Prince on St. Maarten?) I had thought about just walking through Old San Juan, but we're not real shoppers. Would rather hear more about the history of the area and see some of the sights and go to a nice beach for a little. Any suggestions? Thanks!

If I were you, I'd grab a cab and go up the hill to El Morro, and then walk back down through Old San Juan to the ship. If you search this thread, I have posted a link to Frommer's walking tour guide. It would be a good help. You can maybe walk past the other fort on your way down. Old San Juan is very European in its feel, and I am sure that since you like history, you will like this part of town.

I really don't think you have time to go to a beach if you do this.

Have a great cruise!
