Fl cruiser 2012 Posted September 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2016 We are sailing out of Galveston for the first time and I need suggestions for parking, My husband is a disabled veteran, my mother in law will need a walker or wheel chair because she cant stand for long periods of time, and we are also traveling with an aunt who is blind. Can anyone give me suggestions on the best place to park? I know there is a place we can park for free with my husband being a disabled veteran, but I don't mind paying if there is a better place to park. Rare Essiesmom Posted September 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2016 You might ask this on the Gulf Coast Departures board, under North American Homeports. EM
High Cs Posted September 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2016 Park and Cruise is across the street from the pier and is enclosed parking. Fairly easy to drop handicapped passengers off at the terminal, drive to Park and Cruise, and walk back to terminal. Going Coastal Posted September 18, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2016 High Cs answer is correct. My DH drops me and the luggage. I usually go ahead and check in and get pushed to our cabin, while he is parking and taking the shuttle back to the ship. Then he checks in and joins me in the cabin. If you are going to do this make two copies of the express pass. Easy peasy!
