OS/DOS/GV liquor selection question

We are embarking a week from tomorrow, and I am wondering about this.

 

On the Sky, we asked for (and received) 2 bottles of rum, which per the list was Bacardi Superior White Rum and 1 bottle of vodka. The Vodka was fine (Smirnoff), however, we do NOT like white rum.

 

Is substitution (maybe for an upcharge), possible? Say, Captain Morgan instead of the Bacardi?

 

Is this something I should ask the Precruise Concierge Desk, or is it best left as a butler request?

 

Has anyone done this and had it work?

Since you are leaving tomorrow, the butler should be able to handle once on board.

 

Whenever I switched, i did through the pre-cruise concierge a few weeks in advance.

 

Wasn't difficult and the switch prices were fair.

Just ask your butler to switch out onboard. S/he'll likely have to check with supervisor but should make a switch from white to dark rum with no problems.

I emailed the pre cruise concierge...we're leaving 9/26, not the 19th (Id be panicking, since we wouldve missed our flight!)
