wildshooter Posted October 31, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2005 We fly into Miami Thursday AM around 10am for our cruise on Imagination. Is it cheaper and faster to take a cab to the port from the airport? Is there a shuttle service and if so where do you find it?
Zeno Posted October 31, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 31, 2005 Use a taxi - $21 flat fee + tip (for the taxi NOT per person).
Eliot Ness Posted October 31, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 31, 2005 Use a taxi - $21 flat fee + tip (for the taxi NOT per person). The taxi will be faster, plus you won't have to wait for the shuttle to fill up before it leaves. John
wildshooter Posted October 31, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted October 31, 2005 I figured taxi was the way to go, but wanted to confirm. What do we do with our luggage once we get there? Is there a place to drop off our bags or do we carry them on? We've only cruised once before with a group and they handled everything. This is the 1st time on our own. Eliot Ness Posted October 31, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 31, 2005 .........What do we do with our luggage once we get there? If you don't get tags before you sail the porters will give you some. Most people tip them a $1 or $2 per bag. You can also check your carry-on bags or bring them with you on the ship; they just have to fit through a standard airport size scanner.
