jaykat Posted September 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2016 We are very excited to be sailing on Ovation in December this year. Just got the email from RCI to say that there will be no Dynamic Dining on our cruise. Although the email said that we had pre-selected the DD Classic option (which we hadn't), I checked my reservation and it says "my time dining". My question is: do we need to pre-book all our "my time dining" times for dinner every night now? We will probably do a 4 night dining package (haven't booked that yet) but if we do, can I choose which nights I do the paid restaurants?
The_Big_M Posted September 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2016 You don't need to book. You can show up when convenient. However, at busy times, especially if you want a specific table size, you may likely need to wait until a table is available. For the package, you need to dine in a speciality the first night, but the other nights can be selected by you.
cdwh1902 Posted September 19, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2016 We are also on the same cruise. I have just booked every night at the same time (7.45pm), as it is a popular time and can get booked out quickly. My suggestion is to book a time which suits you, and you can always change it if there is a clash with Entertainment (when bookings are open). That way, you get the time that you want. Re Dining Packages, there is no mention of them at this stage, and there is no guarantee that they will offer them.:)
