girlfromthepearl Posted September 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2016 I'm very new to cruising. I was on Carnival Valor about 6 years ago. I just booked on Anthem for March '17 leaving Cape Liberty, NJ and sailing to Florida and Bahamas. I've checked out some shore excursions directly through the RC website and most are pricy. Does anyone have any info on booking excursions outside of RC that are less expensive? When I sailed Carnival I booked all of my excursions that way and saved money but I haven't found info on shore excursions for my Anthem itinerary yet (unless I'm looking in the wrong place.)Also, any suggestions are greatly appreciated. :) I should mention I'm travelling with my DH and 2 kids and another family with kids. SeaThruU Posted September 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2016 I usually start by looking at Trip Advisor and entering the port of call and look at the list of things to do/tours for that port. Also, you can search the ports of call here on Cruise critic and get lots of recommendations for non-ship excursions.
