Discover scuba diving

Is it better to try the discover scuba in Costa maya or in Cozumel? Royal carribean is offering this at both ports. Has anyone done this excursion in Costa maya? Is it worth it?

I know for the most part in Costa maya you don't need to schedule this just get off the ship early and the operators of the many scuba shops will fit you in.

Doctor dive at YaYa Beach is a good shop to check out. Long time dive shop PADI certified. and YaYA is a good beach to hang out afterward. Lots of divers staying for a week or more use them.

Nomad Divers next to Nohoch Kay on the south end of the malecon is another. a couple runs it. Very nice folks. Not associated with NK, though.
