billyvegas Posted September 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2016 If you go through a mock booking on the Regal, the side balcony staterooms aft on Caribe C627-C735 C626-C734 show a total area of 250 Sq Ft as opposed to 223 Sq Ft on other standard balcony rooms on the same deck. I would like to know where the other footage is made up as on the plan they look the same. Anyone stayed in any of these? Thanks, Billy.
san diego sue Posted September 24, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2016 On the Regal and Royal there are cabins that are deluxe balcony cabins. Inside about 10 sq ft larger. There is a sofa in these cabins instead of just a chair. So a bit larger than the standard balcony cabins we all are used to booking.
jonesmen Posted September 24, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2016 I discovered the same thing, but when you click on the deck plan it gives you the same square footage as the other regular balconies. Given the discrepancy, I called Princess to ask, and was told that the cabins (cat BD) were the same size as all of the other cat BD cabins; she spent quite a bit of time checking various specifications while I was on the phone. Also, there is another thread that confirms that these staterooms are no larger.
getaway101 Posted September 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2016 The deluxe balcony cabins are category DD so they would be bigger than the category BD that you are inquiring about.
