Getaway and Escape - Rotan Docking Question

Hi.

 

I am sailing on Getaway and Escape and for Rotan, it says we dock at Bay Islands.

 

This is not the same as Mahogany Bay, correct? Is it far?

If we dock at Bay Islands, I do not want to book a shore excursion at Mahogany Bay, is that correct?

The NCL ships dock at Coxen Hole. It would be a several mile walk to Mahogany Bay. Arrange for pick up at Port of Roatan/Coxen Hole.

Greetings, we were here just two short weeks ago. We had booked the Jolly Roger Catamaran and Snorkel through the ship (I had obc to burn).

 

If I had not booked thru the ship - I found out that as you get off the ship and walk to the parking lot area there are a LOT of vendors (professional) to book shore excursions independently. Most of the excursions offered there are the same as the ship excursions........
