6 of us Posted October 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2016 Hi everyone :D I want to do a 3 day & 4 day back to back cruise in Feb or March. ANY advice you can give above & beyond my specific question is much appreciated. I have never done one, so your experience & opinions are welcome! My question for now is, can you only do a 3 & 4 day out of Port Canaveral? I don't see any 3 days out of any other port around GA. I'm SOOO excited! ANything else I should consider or know prior? springs741 Posted October 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2016 Book with an experienced travel agent or a PVP. They can assist you with getting the same stateroom for both legs. So nice to not have to pack up everything and move.
Life_Traveler Posted October 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 2, 2016 I agree with calling your PVP. We love doing B2B but usually make them longer. We only do them if we can keep the same room as to not have to pack in between. We are doing a 6 and 8 day over thanksgiving on the Conquest. paper1122 Posted October 2, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 2, 2016 Why not do a 7 day and go to better ports? PC has a lot of options
tandemcruzr Posted October 2, 2016 #5 Share Posted October 2, 2016 (edited) Can you do a 5 and 4 day? Ports would likely be better. You definitely want the same cabin for both legs of your B2B. :D That's about all we book now -- 7&7, 8&6, 5&4 or a 10 day Journey Cruise. 6 of us Posted October 2, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted October 2, 2016 Can't do more than a 3 & 4 because hubby can only do a wknd cruise that time of year 😃
paper1122 Posted October 3, 2016 #7 Share Posted October 3, 2016 I guess I am confused. You said you wanted to do a back to back, but you can only cruise over a weekend and do a 3 or 4 day? So only 1 cruise then?
dragonclaw74 Posted October 3, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 3, 2016 If you can go out of Miami, you could take a 3 day to the Bahamas (Fri-Mon) on the Victory and then a 4 day (Mon-Fri) that goes to Key West and Cozumel on the Victory. So I take it that your husband can only do the 3 day so he would head home and you would continue on the 4 day.
6 of us Posted October 3, 2016 Author #9 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Yes, you guys are correct. Fam will do the 4 day then husband will fly down & join us for the 3 day. 😎
SkyMaster Posted October 3, 2016 #10 Share Posted October 3, 2016 You might want to take a look at a 4 day/5 day on "Paradise" out of Tampa. I've done that a couple of times, and it's GREAT FUN. "SKY"
cruzin Phillis Posted October 3, 2016 #11 Share Posted October 3, 2016 I am not a PVP person as I like to plan my own cruise. I enjoy the researching part of it. I used this site to help book my B2B. http://www.cruisetimetables.com/
