MBNA RCL Visa Card

We are thinking of booking our next cruise on the Mercury for the Mexican Riviera. Does anyone know if we will get double points if we charge the cruise to our RCL MBNA Visa card since RCL owns Celebrity? Has anyone ever done it before?

No double points for Celebrity. I used my RCCL card to make a deposit for my next cruise, (on Celebrity), and did not receive double points.

Darn. We have a card as well, but only sail on Celebrity! We need Celebrity to sign up with MBNA separately or have RCL change to add credits for X.

I called MBNA last night and they said that we should get the double points. That stinks for celebrity, I might as well use my American Airlines card to get the miles, so I get the free flight then!

Do RCL VISA points get you anything on Celebrity? I know the stock ownership program works, what about your points?
