happygen85 Posted October 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2016 Hi! We will be in Nassau in December for a short day, from 12pm to 7pm. We will have our 14 months old baby with us as well as my parents and in-laws. What would you recommend as far as excursions and activities? Thank you! scubagirrl Posted October 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2016 No suggestions, but I'd like to point out that it will be dark before 5pm in December.
smilz Posted October 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 17, 2016 We took our 2 year old granddaughter to Blue Lagoon on a ship excursion last year. You can take a stroller on the ferry and we had a diaper bag as well. There is a wooden dock/walkway that passes right by the dolphins that you easily see. There was a paved walk way at the end of the dock. You can park the stroller under the trees (I think there was loungers there as well) Sand is soft and white. We took a small bag of sand box toys but you could make do with a plastic spoon and an empty cup. The water was shallow and very calm. We bought a floatation seat from Target that folded up with an easy twist and fit into a suit case with ease. It had an inner and outer ring that you blew up easily and was very stable. Make sure you bring sunscreen. The excursion included lunch that could be appropriate for some 14 month olds. We all really enjoyed the day and it was not crazy busy like Junkanoo Beach and way cleaner.

How far was it from the port? Thanks!
