Excursion question

If you book an excursion pre-cruise to save a spot are you able to cancel the reservation and then re-book the excursion to use onboard credit?

I read that you can cancel 24 hrs before the excursion. Has anyone done this?

Thanks :D

Well, you could, but by canceling onboard, the refund will come to you as additional OBC...so you won't be gaining anything, really! It will NOT go back to your credit card!

It does come back as refundable OBC if you cancel on board. At the end of the cruise if you have credit remaining, it is refunded to your credit card.
