Transfer from New York

When qm2 docks in New York does cunard offer transfer to centre of New York for shopping etc or how easy is it to get to shopping area

Do you mean that you will be continuing on with the ship after her layover in New York? It depends on how many are continuing on. If there are sufficient numbers Cunard has offered a bus trip into Manhattan which drops off passengers at Macy's in midtown, then returns at a pickup point in the late afternoon for the return to Brooklyn. That's a big landmark and there are plenty of subways and taxis.

 

Are you disembarking the ship and heading home? Some Cunard airport transfers for those with late afternoon or early evening flights will make some side shopping or sightseeing trip before delivering the passengers to Newark Liberty or JFK.

 

In Brooklyn the nearest subway stop is quite a walk from the Redhook cruise terminal. Taxis or ferries would get you into Manhattan.

Thank you for your reply, we will be remaining on her as she continues on to the Caribbean for Christmas and new year then one more visit to New York before heading back to Southampton
