Elite Perks

Do these amenities get replenished if you do you use them? Two q-tips would last us a day! Or is it just one bag of goodies per cabin per cruise?

Not quite elite, but almost!

Our experience always been if we need more of something (ex q-tips) just ask your room steward and they will get it for you;)

This was not the case when on the Regal, however. Nobody in room service picked up the phone on day one, so we went to passenger services to have them call so we could get a pre-purchased water package delivered. (Another story).

You indicate there is more to the pre-purchase story. We experienced something similar to this on our last trip on the Regal in January. We have ordered pre-purchased liquor before and it was always waiting for us in the stateroom. Not this time, nor was our case of water. If I recall, I had 4 bottles of red wine and three of various liquors ordered.

I called room service and asked where these were. I also wanted to change out a number of items in our free mini-bar set up. They sounded confused, so I had to relate the list of what we had ordered and paid for in advance. They said we can’t deliver that much alcohol in a single order. I said, I don’t understand, I’m not ordering now, I did so four months ago and paid for it then, are you not aware of our pre-order? Quiet.

I then said, okay, bring it in installments if you want. Just make sure I get one of the bottles of vino at least 45 minutes before muster.

Not much more than 5 minutes went by, then room service showed up with “everything”. Never did figure out what was going on, hope they are still sticking to their past practice of delivering and it waiting in the cabin for you.
