Valor2005 Posted November 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2005 I'm totally unfamiliar with the Bahamas and we'll be stopping there on the 12/04 Valor cruise. I keep seeing references to Atlantis and would appreciate information about it. Like, what is it, what is there to do there, and what does it cost? Any information is greatly appreciated! sunsetme Posted November 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2005 go to their website atlantis.com--the place is as elaborate as their website. It is a huge hotel with casino, incredible beach, pools, aquariums, marina, restaurants. its like a cruise ship on land. you can pay to see The Dig (the aquariums) or try to get a room at comfort suites for the day to have access to the whole place. they ask for your room key all over the property, youwill not be allowed to go out to the beach and pools unless you are a guest there or at comfort suites. streaks23 Posted November 5, 2005 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2005 You guys are on the Valor two weeks before us (12/18). Would very much like to know what you do in Nassau and how fast you can get off the ship? Also, would like to know how fast you get through customs in St. Thomas and off the ship.... We have a excursion planned for St. John and not sure how soon we can meet our party at Red Hook! Thanks so much!
