Dolphin cove & Stingray city excursion

We are planning on doing the Stingray city/Dolphin swim excursion through Carnival Cruiseline. There is an option to go to 7mile beach after but would need our own transportation back to the port. If we chose this option, assuming there is enough time, what would be the recommended transportation back to the port. Price? How far is it from the port? Is transportation readily available there?

Taxis are readily available at the various beach clubs and most of the public access points along Seven Mile Beach. Cost would be around $4-6 US pp or thereabouts.
