so if playing slots and you bet 90 cents, it is rare that if you hit jackpot, you make much money. Of course the more you are betting when you hit on a slot, the more you win. You can play a lot longer if you are betting low, like 38 cents, 60 cents, 90 cents. When I have hit jackpot and was playing higher bets, I did well. I just haven't hit any big jackpots or small jackpots for awhile. haha

got it, just didn't understand if you were playing craps and betting $10 pass line bet or playing roulette and betting $10 per spin.

i understand what you are saying about betting bigger vs. not betting max.

My best friend, of 38yrs, cruises with my husband and I on a regular basis. She is a BIG gambler. On our last cruise together on the Magic, she was betting max on this dollar machine, (she only bets max on all machines) it was $20 a pull, she won $7,000. Thank goodness our husbands gamble very little! She probably put it all back because she had over 40,000 points and got a BB for a balcony. Even she could not find anything that worked for her. We got premier offers recently, but I prefer the free BB's. I usually get 5,000 points, and that is with a lot of effort! I mainly play pennies, and not max. I wish they would go back to the old way of offering the Ultra cruises.
