Sagrada Familia ticket time slot

I am trying to buy tickets online for our port day on 12/16/2016 in Barcelona

We dock at 9. How long foes it take to get from Port to city center. I guess then we could take a cab or do the hop on hop off bus! Trying to figure out what time slot I should pick for tickets. No tour

We will be in Barcelona 22nd of November - our ship also docks at 9:00. We have booked the tickets for 12:00. We will take the public bus from the port to las ramblas, walk the ramblas towards the city center and use there the metro to Sagrada Familia.

No we are on the Poesia for a transatlantic cruise...;)

 

I think the plan should be no problem - it is our 5th time in Barcelona - the only thing I have no experience yet is the metro...;)

So it is our first time to Barcelona. We were thinking of doing the hoho bus and getting off at Sagrada Familia for our time slot? Or would we do better with a cab. We want to walk around las ramblass too. Thanks for your help
