crossfitmama Posted December 16, 2016 #26 Share Posted December 16, 2016 Casadores and Jimador I think are ok for margaritas. I do like Patron for shots though:)
BritinSoCal Posted December 17, 2016 #27 Share Posted December 17, 2016 Casadores and Jimador I think are ok for margaritas. I do like Patron for shots though:) Casadores and Jimador (reposado of course :)) make an excellent long drink with Squirt (the proper one made with cane sugar and not high fructose corn nasty) Patron in a Bandera is OK, but for supping Don Julio reposado or anejo hits the right spot... Skai Posted December 20, 2016 #28 Share Posted December 20, 2016 On the subject of tequila...IIRC we paid around $15USD+/- for a bottle of this: Don't let the (non-unique)name fool you. It's a really smooth and good QPR tequila. Even the woman at the counter in the (local)liquor store in Cabo noted the quality, also stating something along the lines of: "tourists often overlook it, instead opting for the more well known brands". We found it to be equally as good as others such as Patron, Don Julio etc. that command a much higher price here at home.
