IBEEMOM Posted November 6, 2005 #4 Share Posted November 6, 2005 Make sure you attend the "Ticket to Ride" show. It features the Beatles songs and is a fast paced, wonderful production. You can also watch the Carnival Capers newspaper for a time to take a tour backstage.
Carnival Queen Posted November 6, 2005 #5 Share Posted November 6, 2005 We are heading on the Miracle Jan 22. Any tips on fun things to do in port or on the ship? We would appreciate anything you can share. Payd:) I just posted this on another board, but here's what we've done: Cemetery Reef Beach in Grand Cayman - just a cab ride from town - about $5 each; a quiet, unspoiled beach - no facilities though Mahujual fishing village in Costa Maya - fun beach, like a little flea market with a sand road - beach on one side, bars on the other side Paradise Beach in Cozumel - not the best snorkeling, but a beautiful white-sand beach with lots of water toys - kayaks, water inflatable igloo climbing wall, water trampoline - bar and restaurant, chairs, umbrellas Belize - last time we did the shark/ray alley tour through Coral Breeze (excellent); this time we are trying the cave tubing with cave-tubing.com (Yhony) who we learned about on these Boards Good luck - any other questions, just ask. P.S. Check out the ports of call section on these Boards - to into each one individually and you'll get great suggestions :)
beansatw Posted November 7, 2005 #6 Share Posted November 7, 2005 You'll always find a zillion things to do on board the Miracle - trivia contests, art auctions, fun games on the Lido deck, or if all else fails, you can lay in the sun and enjoy the fact that it's January and warm out! :D Be sure to check out the daily Capers for the complete list - activities usually start early in the morning, and go well into the night. We were on the Miracle exactly a year before you are sailing - the weather was beautiful, and we had an absolute blast. I'm sure you will, too. :)
