suggested books to take on a cruise

It's kind of fun to read books about cruising or about a fictional cruise. You might try "The Woman in Cabin 10" or one of these cruise ship murder mystery books:

A true story I think is really a great read is "...And the Sea Will Tell" by Vincent Bugliosi. It all took place back in the 1970's but it is just a fascinating story with an ending that will stay with you afterwards. It's about sailing to a deserted island and a murder that took place there.

 

Then there is "The Dove" by Robin Lee Graham, about the youngest person to sail around the world solo (at the time.)

I'm reading Strangers on a Train now, cant put it down! Did you enjoy Woman in Cabin 10? I found it a little clastrophobic, had to keep taking breaks lol, but I think thats what Ruth Ware was going for in terms of tone/atmosphere.

I know I am taking two book by Dean Koontz, Shattered and Shadow Fires. Past those two I'm not sure, I have to check my "to read" stack and see what looks good and what I'd be willing to leave behind in the library.

I would take a book that was not too long and I could read easily in the cruise time frame. Then I would sign it and donate it to the ship Library. Also if you don't want to take one I'm sure you can find one there that you will like. Have a great cruise.
