minn55441 Posted November 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2016 My wife and I were booked for a late January cruise on the Getaway, but for multiple reasons we ended up canceling our reservation prior to final payment. Most of those issues have been resolved and we are now looking at options for that same date. We have always booked 9 months or more in advance and are now in the position of looking at after final payment choices for the first time. If we book something 8 weeks, 6 weeks or even 4 weeks out from the sail date, can we still expect to receive the advantage upgrade email? I know it all depends on the demand for that specific date, but what have others experienced? Has anyone received the upgrade option even after booking after final payment? timf2001 Posted November 25, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 25, 2016 I booked 6 weeks out, made final payment the next day, received the upgrade email a couple days later, and had the upgrade clear 6 days before sailing.
