Orlando Airport to Port Canaveral - group

I would also appreciate any information about shuttle service from the airport to the port and back. My husband and I will be sailing the Mariner on Jan 22 but flying to Orlando the day before. I am interested in comparing the cost/convenience of independently booked shuttle service vs the cruise lines' service. My cruise agent tells me that RCI charges $50pp round trip for their shuttle. Any help would be welcome.

I have read, and we are doing this before our cruise on Jan 21 (coming into Orlando on 20th): Rent a car from Budget at airport, small car is less than $40 for one day, then return it at Cocoa Beach, they will give you free shuttle from drop off to Port. Seems to me if you are coming into town a day early to be the best way to go. We will book a shuttle service for the day we return, as we are flying home the same day we debark. :)
