I remember reading about a restaurant that had burnt down and they were going to rebuild. I think it was a takeout and inside restaurant with tables outside.

 

Is that the restaurant?

 

Is this restaurant near the pier?

 

I have a tour that finishes at 6pm and was thinking maybe a light seafood dinner before going back onboard.

Franklin St which runs right along the dock has several places to get some great seafood. There is the famous Tracy's and a little further is a bunch of food stands. We had halibut and chips at Papa Rod's Halibut & Chips and it was the best ever! You have to stop here.

I know the Hanger has seafood but I want to go there just to take a picture of the camera on the roof. ;) Man, that new dock is coming along nice. Weather must be cooperating some but I hear a blast of cold air is coming down next week.

You will want to go to Tracy's if you want crab legs. Nothing fancy, picnic table dining in plastic tent. But the best crab, and recommended by the locals.
