I always do it myself. I recommend you get to your destination a day or two early this will help you to enjoy the cruise from the first day instead of being tired from the flight. Also if weather problems you still make the cruise. If you search the web you will always have many transportation options. I always try to book a hotel close to the terminal.

First Rule of seasoned Cruisers is NEVER fly in the day of the Cruise. Too much stress and too much can go wrong. It counts as your first day on Board, so get there about 11:30-12:00, get on board, and start the party.

Typically a taxi for two is cheaper and much quicker then a Cruise line bus, plus you control the timing.

We used Carnival Air for our first cruise.

We saved $200 and enjoyed a 14 hour 3 stop travel day.

Had we done it ourselves, for $200 more we would have had a 6 hour non stop travel day.

Do it yourself.

Fro transportation, either taxi or private car service.

Oh,, fly in the day before
