Babycruz Posted November 8, 2005 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2005 hi there, I am not sure which category you are but if you are Concierge level then you should be allowed to board from 11am if not then I think it is 1pm.
Garmed Posted November 8, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2005 We are Cat B on the Nautica leaving Athens Nov 28. The ship sails at 6pm and we are allowed on board at 3PM. This is my first Oceania cruise so am not familiar with how much leeway they allow. I do not like the "class system" and think all boarders should be treated equally except maybe a special line for penthouse guests, although I really do not know why, come to think of it. PurpleCow Posted November 8, 2005 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2005 I was in a B category stateroom on the Insignia last summer. I arrived in Istanbul at 10:30 AM and was transported to the ship arriving about 11:30 or noon. We were allowed to board and were directed to the buffet for lunch. Announcements were made as cabins became available for occupancy. I'm fairly sure I was well fed and in my stateroom by 2 PM.
