Please help with Nassau Excursion

Hi! Things are very slow on the Bahamas ports of call page, so I am hoping for a little help from my fellow NCL passengers. We are on the Escape next month and will be in Nassau from 12-7pm. We are traveling with four adults and three kids (12,10,7). \

 

We are trying to decide what to do in Nassau. We are between Melia and Balmoral Stingray/Beach break.

 

For the other ports, we have booked Jost Van Dyke (Tortola), private scuba/beach day (St. Thomas).

 

My kids have been asking to swim with stingrays since our excursion to stingray city was cancelled last year. However, the reviews on Balmoral are mixed.

 

Do either have a heated pools? I am a little worried about weather in Bahamas as this is mid-February.

 

Any help or insight would be very much appreciated.

That's where we went when we were deciding on a non-NCL excurison.

I snorkeled in Nassau in March once, I found it incredibly freezing cold and did not stay in the water for the whole snorkel time, it was just too icy.
