cj7238 Posted December 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2016 Just returned from a cruise off Paradise on Dec. 10. I have been on many cruises but this disembarkation was horrible. No information on the tv the day before. No information about where to wait. Could not hear them calling the different floors. It was the worst I have ever seen.....total chaos!!!! gnatz007 Posted December 17, 2016 #6 Share Posted December 17, 2016 I agree. We were just off the same cruise and it was horrible. Trying to decide if I should even post a review on the cruise or not. There was alot that just wasn't what we expected as first time Carnival cruisers (not first time cruisers). crusinpsychRN Posted December 17, 2016 #7 Share Posted December 17, 2016 I'm Platinum and once on Paradise our group was just forgotten. They were calling decks and we hadn't been escorted off. They left us standing in a hallway for over 30 minutes. When they finally came back no one would let us in line to get off. Some crew member hollered at the lady who was supposed to have taken us. But even he couldn't get people to stop to get us off. Horrible.
Ofmyheart Posted December 17, 2016 #8 Share Posted December 17, 2016 Have done 2 cruises on Paradise, no announcements either cruise, only the disembarkation letter day before. We just left cabin and waited at the grill for our time frame. It is really stupid to carry luggage up multiple decks when you have been in cabin on deck 4!! Guess that is the cost of being independent carry-on. Face it the Paradise is just a weekend party barge!

theriac Posted December 18, 2016 #10 Share Posted December 18, 2016 It's been this way every time I've disembarked from Tampa all the way back to when the inspiration was there. Some ships are better than others and The Paradise was definitely the worst. Sent from my SM-G920V using Forums mobile app
Buckeye10640 Posted December 24, 2016 #11 Share Posted December 24, 2016 We disembarked the Paradise this morning. We were not self-assist and were on Riviera deck so we were last to disembark. We were out of our room and on Lido deck with our carry-ons at 830am eating breakfast. Announcements were very clear and we were off the ship around 10ish and on I-4 by 11am. From my perspective it was very smooth.....would have liked to be off sooner but not enough to pay for FTTF. May do self-assist next time though.
