Best Hotel/Transport for World Cruise Center

We are making our first visit to the West Coast on April 21, to cruise the Mexican Riviera on the Sapphire Princess. I could use some advice from the more experienced travelers amoung you in figuring out the best hotel and mode of transportation to the World Cruise Center and back to the airport.

 

We are planning on flying out on the day before the cruise, (Friday 4/21) and are looking at hotels and transport.:confused: I see that the Holiday Inn in San Pedro has a special for $189, for one nite, where they pick you up at LAX, transport you to the hotel and the next day to the pier. Upon return from the cruise, they also will transport you to LAX. Has anyone ever stayed at this hotel??
