Charleyben Posted December 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2016 I know this issue has been raised on other threads but is anybody able to assist me with regards to when cabins are allocated on world sectors. The fare I have purchased is a travel agent net fare where the travel agent has arranged the air transport. The fare is not a select or saver fare as I have been given my preferred dining choice but not my cabin. We are due to travel in 9 days time and I was wondering at what point should I think about contacting P & O? Thanks for any advice you may have. If you look online at your cruise personaliser you should see a cabin number on there. Not sure if it matters if the ta booked your airfare or not as to when cabin allocated. Usually I think 2 weeks prior to sailing is when the saver fare cabins are allocated. If you booked via a TA ask them to tell you the cabin number allocated. Pando will not talk to you direct if you booked via a ta
Charleyben Posted December 31, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted December 31, 2016 Thanks for your response. My cruise personaliser still shows cabin not allocated. A large proportion of world sectors are packaged by cruise agents and do not follow the same rules as Saver/Select fares. I was just wondering when they normally allocate cabins on this arrangement. I will speak with my TA and see if they can assist.
