happytravelleruk Posted December 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2016 Do P and O do accessible tours in La Palma,, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria? We have sailed there before but in those days I was mobile.😕
LondonTowner Posted January 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2017 I don't know if P and O do accessible tours, but these are ports of Call where you can easily DIY or arrange something yourself. Do a search on the Port's of Call and TripAdvisor.
happytravelleruk Posted January 5, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted January 5, 2017 Thanks but we have wandered round the ports in the past and fancied going further afield this time. We don't do many organised trips but when we do we prefer the ship's tours for ease of travel with a wheelchair ( I can't do steps).. We like to play it safe i'm afraid. Captain Beefheart Posted February 12, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2017 Took a accessible tour to Fire Mountain Lanzorote last Sept 2016 with P and O. It was a mini bus that was ramped took us as near as possible to everywhere , would give a microphoned information/ guided tour or because we were the only 2 on this bus talked directly to us.Really good tour, down side was that the two of us had to pay double what able bodied passengers paid even though it was the same itinerary. Tours with P and O will be shown in the booklet that is sent out to passengers that have booked a accessible cabins or contact P and O for details of all accessible trips on your cruise, ask the to email you them.(there is a so called disabled section at P and O to be put through to)
