CruisinHoneymooners Posted January 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2017 Hi there, I'm interested in hearing from folks who have done the "official" Build A Bear Workshop at Sea since Carnival began rolling it out in the past few months. Can you share, please, is the experience the same as going to any land BABW store? With the big stuffing machine, the "grooming" stations, etc? Any pictures to share? Most of the threads I was able to find about this seem to confuse/combine the BABW with Carnival's other (previous?) stuff-your-own-bear type of event, but I am trying to find out specifically about the branded BABW. TIA! :D
Ready 2 Go Posted January 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2017 Hi there, when I did the BABW with my son it was different than the on land shop. You stuff your bear by hand (you and your kiddo). You get to choose which bear you want to stuff. I think the Funship bear, you know the funnel guy, was the cheapest selection. The seeing point is spending the quiet time with your little one. Have fun. Let me know if you have questions. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
Domergirl Posted January 2, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2017 Sorry - haven't seen the official "BABW" on a ship yet. Many of the ships still have "Beary Cuddly", which is what ^^^ is described above. I was just on the Carnival site to see if my upcoming cruise on the Fantasy will have Build a Bear, but it looks like the Fantasy still has Beary Cuddly...so I'll have to keep waiting! (or rather my 6 yr old will!!!)
