Liberty in nassau

Just wondering if the Liberty is due to come into Nassau this late in the day? Problems? Thanks!

It was due in at 8am and leave at 5 pm.

That's what I thought as well! It came in after 4pm. I wonder if another ship that was docked in Nassau had an issue and could not leave? Sailing on Liberty on Thursday so I hope it was nothing!!

Strange. You would think they would just skip it altogether. Apparently it needed to stop. Unrelated, on one cruise I was sitting on my balcony after dinner and we were sailing very close to Nassau which I had never experienced. We proceeded to enter the harbor. I called guest services and was told we were stopping to let off a sick passenger. I watched her come off the ship and she was walking to the ambulance so thankfully it didn't appear to be life threatening.

Cruisemapper has it still in Nassau this am.

I keep looking for updates but I've seen nothing. Was it also going to Freeport? Maybe it's skipping that stop and spending extra time in Nassau. I'm curious to know since we're on the Liberty in February!

She's not there. Port Nassau Webcam shows 3 ships and none of them are Carnival. If you scroll out of the ship tracker map below the video, you can see Liberty is sailing away from Nassau, on track to PC.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Anything can happen at any time. Last year on Liberty we were supposed to leave St. Thomas by 5 but we stayed until 10. No announcements or anything, just a sign on the gangway that said to be back by 9.
