AJTWC Posted January 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2017 We are doing a Bayonne to Bermuda cruise on Celebrity Summit in June. No experience with this line, previous cruisers, mostly on RCI (and one unfortunate Disney cruise). Any tips, suggestions, comments, especially regarding accessibility? Rare mom says Posted January 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2017 "Accessibility" can cut a pretty wide swath. What particular issues are you concerned with? Visual or hearing impairment? Intellectual or mental challenges? Mobility or endurance problems? Are you asking about accessible cabins or the use of mobility equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, or ecvs on the ship? Are your concerns about the ship or with port/excursion accessibility? A bit more information could help us supply information targeted to your needs. casper106 Posted January 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2017 You should contact Celebrity directly about your accessibility concerns.
misspuss Posted January 7, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2017 I have found a lot of good infomation on the disabled cruising section of these boards. You may want to check them out.
Fish Lover Posted January 7, 2017 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2017 I've sailed on the Summit to Bermuda the past several years. If you have any specific questions, I will be happy to answer them if I know.
