Looking for transportation ideas from Orlando airport to Port Canaveral hotels

Head out to Florida departures board for lots of tips and references on shuttles.

If coming in on day of cruise consider Carnival transfer, just to assist if there are arrival delays at MCO. If coming in the night before, consider renting a car for the day. Again lots of info out on the Florida boards.

After reading some boards I decided to go with Cortrans. (Cortrans-shuttle.com) it was $40 round trip pp and very easy. It was already too late for me to book with Carnival but most posted this was better in their experience. Happy cruising!

Excellent choice! We used them from Port Canaveral to MCO and it worked out great and was inexpensive. They have great customer service also!

I would rent a car, drive there and turn it in. Then rent another for the return trip...

 

It is more a hassle, but it is cheaper than any other option I had researched..

 

It does require someone to be up and willing to drive the hr or so it is away.

Hey, for $40 RT and coming in the night before. That's a good deal. Enjoy your cruise.:)

 

I only suggested using Carnival transfers if you were arriving day of just as an insurance to get to the ship on time or have them wait for you. Night before, no needed to bother with the hassle.
