Taxi from Fort Laud to Miami Airport

Can anyone tell me how long the taxi or shuttle ride is from the port of Ft Lauderdale to Miami Int Airport? We are flying in and out of Miami and wanted to know the travel time for planning. Thanks

Depending upon time of day and traffic.....

 

The last time we took a taxi from Miami Int Airport to FLL, it took 40 minutes and cost about $70.00.

We are taking a limo to and fro 12/3, 12/18 as per the suggestions of other CCr's. $70 + required tip and NO WAITNG!!

Depending on your flight times, you might consider hiring a car each way. There is no drop-off charge and rates are as low as $18.00 plus, of course, topping off the tank when you return it. We are flying to FLL for a 12/4 cruise and will be flying out of Miami on the 11th. We will get a taxi to FLL airport, pick up the car and enjoy a Sunday drive along the coast through Miami Beach, maybe with a little Christmas shopping, and fly out at 5:30 p.m. Just a suggestion...
