LAX Airports

If they are both on Century Blvd., then they are both within a few blocks of the LAX airport-

This is not in any way a "nice" area-it's safe, but very industrial-nothing but hotels, car rental, fast food and boobie bars (no joke).

The hotels are pretty much equal, just take whichever is cheaper-I hope this is a one night pre-cruise, not for fun-because the area is pretty boring!!

However, if you like to gamble, the Hollywood Park Race track/casino is about 2 miles down Century-a quick, cheap cab ride. In the same location are a Target store, Home Depot and some smaller retail places.

Hope that helps.

The Sheraton Gateway is on Century Blvd. (on the left hand side of the street when you exit the airport). The Sheraton Four Points is just off Century Blvd. to the left, again as you exit the airport. I forget what street it is actually on, but it's across from the Embassy Suites North. Both locations are considered LAX Hotel locations.

We've stayed at both - if it is for one night go with the one that has the best rate.

There is nothing much around except hotels and some fast food places (there is a Burger King just up the block from Four Points). When we overnite at LAX we just eat at the hotel and normally choose a hotel with a restuarant or two of it's own.

Thanks for the responses...I just need a place close to the airport for a very early flight...

I'm staying w/friends in another area but with an extra 45- 1 hour travel time from their place, easier for me to stay in a Hotel the night b/4 my flight

I just saw both those Hotels were scored ok...

Thanks
